E82 135i
The first generation of the BMW 1 Series, developed alongside the E9X generation, replaced the 3 Series compact as the entry level model. Powered by the N54B30, the 135i produced 302hp and 295lbft of torque through the option of a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The LCI in 2010 brought a new engine, the N55B30, and a new transmission, a 7-speed dual-clutch. The 135i also benefits from upgraded 6-piston front brake calipers and 2-piston rear brake calipers.
